Savings Agreement
Started on June 1, 2004,
Doctor Cool & Professor Heat, Inc. began our new "Equipment Credit"
Program available only to our Energy Savings Agreement (ESA)
customers. Commencing June 1st, each ESA renewal will earn you our
customer a $50.00 credit toward the purchase of new equipment from
Doctor Cool.
Here's how it works.
Each year when you renew your Energy Savings Agreement (ESA), we
will automatically (at no cost to you) credit your account $50.00
(per system) good towards the purchase of new heating/cooling
equipment. Now we realize that you do not always have to replace
your complete heating/cooling system at one time. So we have broken
down four (4) major components this credit covers:
- Outdoor Unit
- Furnace
- Indoor Evaporator
Coil
- Duct System
You will be able to use
25% of your equipment credit balance toward the purchase of any one
of these components or 50% for (2) or 75% for three or 100% for a
complete system replacement.
The average life of a
properly maintained heating/cooling system is 11 to 15 years. If
during this time, you had your ESA agreement in place under our
program, you would have earned $550.00 to $750.00 in your equipment
credit account. The maximum amount we can credit is $750.00 per
system. Now add that to your 15% discount for being a ESA customer
and you have just received a 25% to 35% discount off the price of
your new equipment. All at no additional cost to you. It's our way
of saying, Thank You for being one of our customers.
In addition, if you had
an active Energy Savings Agreement in effect on May 31, 2004, we
have already credited your equipment account $50.00 just for being a
ESA customer and we will credit your account another $50.00 (per
system) when you renew your agreement.
One more way of saying
thank you is that if you move from your current home to another home
within our service area and maintain an ESA agreement at your new
residence, we will transfer your account credit with you. If your
move is not within our service area, we will transfer your account
balance to the new owner, please have them contact us for details
about this program.
Your "Equipment Credit"
may only be used toward the purchase of new equipment as listed
above. Any credits earned will be lost should you choose not to
renew your ESA Agreement.
